Chuck, I know this is really last minute but I was just informed I will be needed at work on friday midnights so what I would like to know is what time the real street class is set to make their 3 passes?
If I can make my passes early enough to make it back to Windsor in time I will still be there.

It has come to my attention that some quick 8 cars may not meet the letter of the rules with regard to appearance items. A complete interior includes a carpet, 2 door panels and a dash Street equipment must be in place. Insurance and plates. Im getting some static from some racers who completly meet the rules regarding cars that dont. That being said I have told several racers in the past that carpet was not nessacary. that will stay for this year. There is too much gray area to make a determiniation on this 2 days before the event. I take full responsibility for this discrepancy. Next year we will be clearer on this.
_________________
This post was typed with a smile in a non-confrontational state of mind.

Rick Mercer has confirmed he will be coming to Grand Bend Motorplex this weekend to film a segment for his show. He will be doing a ride along in a race car and hopefully we can put him in a car ( maybe a Junior) to make a lap. This should be a blast as he is one funny guy !

See the main page of GBM for all the gate times, procedures, pit sticker program, etc. Other than a possibility for a spotty shower (late Sat) the weekend is looking good ! If you haven't got your WW wristbands yet - better hurry. In addition to the great racing We have the fastest Jet Funny car we have ever seen at GBM for this coming weekend - 270MPH +, plus the Firetruck Wheelstander, Fireworks etc.

8 point cage

Ladder bar rear setup (currently has a stock rearend in the car just to move it around)

Includes:
Gauges (5" silver tach w/shift lite, 2-5/8" water temp and oil pressure gauges)
Fuel Cell

3" Exhaust with 2 chamber Flowmasters
2 plastic racing bucket seats with covers
MSD 6AL, Blaster II coil
Hurst quarter stick shifter with T-handle
Chrome Moly 3" driveshaft w/TH350 yoke
Weld Draglites and skinny fronts
Fiberglass front and rear bumpers
Fiberglass 3" Cowl hood

I am sure I am forgetting some things, too.

Plus a few boxes of parts that are miscellaneous left-overs from the previous owner.

I'd like to get out of it what I got into it. I paid $3000 for it. There's more than $3000 in parts with the car, not including the car itself. It's not a show car, it's not a pro car. It's a good starter car for someone, who doesn't want to get nickeled and dimed to death over little crap like buying gauges and whatnot. This is Jake Campeau's old car.

I would like to move this fast.

Car is located near Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Delivery can be negotiated.

Rear wheels and tires do not go with the car, they are on loan from a buddy of mine just to keep it mobile.

Selling with great regret due to physical disability, time constraints, money constraints, loss of storage, and divorce.

You are correct it is a fast bracket class, someplace for the local delay box racers to race. They are usually left out at WW so with the support of some local businesses we are able to put this little class together. Should be exciting as we have some of the best around.
_________________
This post was typed with a smile in a non-confrontational state of mind.
